About this policy

Project C Studios (Project C, we, us or our) provides studio and content services in Brisbane. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website, enquiries and resident applications. For recording, content ownership and file-storage terms, please also read our Terms above.

You can contact us about privacy at hello@projectc.com.au or write to Project C Studios, 4/74 McLachlan Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, content interests, how you heard about us and your message. Resident applications also ask for business details, audience or download information, a preferred recording time and your goals.

Our website and hosting services may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request times and pages requested to deliver the site, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or information about other people unless it is necessary and you are entitled to share it.

Where practical, you can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself. We may need contact or other relevant details to respond, assess an application or provide a service. Required form fields are marked.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess resident applications, arrange and provide requested services, manage our business records, resolve complaints and keep our website and services secure. We may also use it where required or permitted by law.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. This website does not collect newsletter subscriptions or use enquiry details for advertising audiences.

Service providers and bookings

We share relevant information with people working for Project C and service providers who help us operate the website and handle enquiries. These include Vercel for website hosting, Resend for delivery of website enquiry emails, and our business email service. Enquiries are delivered to hello@projectc.com.au. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

Booking links take you to Podyx. Details you enter there, including payment details, are handled through that separate booking service and its providers. This marketing website does not collect payment-card details. Review the privacy information shown by Podyx before submitting a booking. External websites and social platforms have their own privacy practices.

Cookies and optional analytics

Your browser may store information needed for security or to remember your preferences. Where optional Google Analytics is offered, it loads only after you choose to allow analytics. You can change that choice using Analytics preferences on the website. If that control is not shown, optional analytics is not enabled on this website.

With permission, analytics helps us understand page visits and clicks on booking, email and phone links. It may use cookies and device or browser information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry text or URL query strings in our analytics events. Advertising features are not enabled. You can also manage cookies and site storage through your browser.

Processing outside Australia

Our technology providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. The selected Resend sending region is Tokyo, Japan. A sending region does not mean every provider operation or support activity takes place there. Other processing locations depend on the service and its subprocessors.

We consider privacy and security when choosing providers. Their current privacy and subprocessor information explains their locations and handling practices. Contact us if you need more information about a particular disclosure.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Website enquiries are held in our business mailbox and relevant service-provider records. This marketing website does not maintain a separate enquiry database.

We keep enquiry and business records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including service delivery, record-keeping, legal obligations and disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, subject to legal obligations and backup processes. Studio recording-file retention is addressed separately in our Terms; it is not the retention period for every enquiry or business record.

Access, correction and complaints

Email hello@projectc.com.au to ask about personal information we hold, request access or correction, or make a privacy complaint. Tell us what your request concerns. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain why, subject to legal restrictions.

We will review privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable time, aiming to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) about the options available to you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or information-handling practices change. The latest version will be available on this page with its updated date.
